THE VALLEY OF THE GIANTS - GREENS POOL

Questo viaggio con il van ci sta regalando milioni di emozioni, quando ti svegli in un posto diverso ogni giorno, quando ti svegli in un parco naturale e la prima cosa che senti sono i fantastici suoni della natura, quando ti svegli e la prima cosa che vedi ancora sdraiata nel van sono milioni di alberi e colori attorno a te..bhe' quando ti svegli e provi tutto cio'capisci che il sogno lo stai vivendo. 

Oggi si va alla Valle dei Giganti.

This trip is giving to us lots of emotions. When you wake up in a different place every day, when you wake up in a National Park, when you wake up and the first thing you can hear are the fantastic sounds of the nature, when you wake up and you are surrounded by trees and a thousand different colours all around you.. you know that you are living the dream.

Today we are going to the Valley of the Giants.

That is quite a big tree..Giant Dave is feeling a bit small.. My sensation for all my life :)

ROAD TRIP: FREMANTLE- AUGUSTA - BICENTENNIAL TREE - SHANNON NATIONAL PARK

Dicembre 2013

Primo giorno, il van è pronto. Patrick ci aspetta al nostro primo stop, non troppo lontano da casa.. MARGARET RIVER. Piacere di tornare di nuovo al sud, soprattutto se c'è anche la possibilità di salutare un caro amico.

Una sera, un giro al pub, prepararsi la cena con il primo tramonto in van.

Quello che ricerco in questo mini viaggio è qualcosa che sto già assaporando. AUSTRALIA, si di nuovo, quella sensazione, animali, colori, il cielo..infinito.

 Una splendida luce, sospiro e gusto ogni momento.

First day, the van is ready, we are  too.

Seeing Patrick is our first stop, not too far from home.. MARGARET RIVER.

Nice to go back there, especcialy to say '' Ciao'' to an old friend.

Just a night, couple of pubs, come back and cook dinner with the first sunset from the van.

What I am looking for with this trip is something that I am already tasting in this first night. AUSTRALIA, hello to you again, this sensation that just the wild side of this country can give to me: animals, colours, the infinite sky. 

An amazing light..I am already enjoying every single second.

Al mattino ci svegliamo, super colazione, risate e salutiamo Patrick (non trovo neanche una foto,le troverò!!)

Ci dirigiamo verso Conto Beach,  spiaggia raggiungibile attraverso una strada un pò tortuosa, ma all'arrivo ne vale proprio la pena. 

Questa spiaggia è parte del Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park.

L' Oceano è  qui limpidissimo, è vivo, si fa sentire, per quello ti manca quando non ce l' hai, ti entra dentro, ti scuote e ti regala sensazioni, diverse, ma te ne regala sempre. 

Lasciamo la spiaggia, ci dirigiamo ad Augusta, con il suo faro (8$), visita veloce. 

Continuiamo alla scoperta dell' albero bicentenario (75m di scalata).

Conto’s Beach and its surrounding bays are part of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park.This freshwater spring makes Conto’s unique – it flows out onto the sand, icy cold and filtered clean by the limestone it passes through. 

The Ocean is amazing, alive, its why we miss it when we are not close. 

It gives us emotions all the time, always different and always makes me feel that I love it.

We are leaving this beach, we are going to.. Augusta. A quick visit at the light house and.. keep going to the BICENTENNIAL TREE (75 meters).

Noi abbiamo scalato solo per meta', anzi meno,  felici cosi.

We climbed just half way up, probably less, anyway really happy.

Per la notte vorremmo dirigerci verso Walpole, ma lungo la strada notiamo una segnalazione per il Shannon National Park. 

Quando arriviamo siamo circondati da natura pazzesca, il posto e' un paradiso. 10 $ a testa da lasciare in una cassetta della posta e via ad accendere il fuoco. Ci aspetta un' altra nottata di suoni della natura e stelle da togliere il fiato.

For the night we would like to reach Walpole, but we saw a sign for the Shannon National Park and we decided to spend the night there.

When we arrived there we were just surrounded by nature. The place is a paradise. $10 each and we can spend the night there.

We are ready for another amazing night in the middle of no where with just the sounds from the nature and a sky covered in stars.

Svegliaaaaaaaaaa, si va alla Camminata sugli Alberi nella Valle dei Giganti!!!
